Hyper-Spherical Search Optimized Fuzzy Logic Control Considering Operating Conditions for Hybrid Tram

Rule-based control strategy has significant advantages of strong robustness and high flexibility, gradually become a classical implementation method to optimize the energy management performance modern energy-storage trams. However, it also faces problems over-reliance on expert experience poor adaptability operating conditions. Therefore, an improved dynamic power distribution for tram lithium battery/supercapacitor storage system is proposed, which introduces road slope running speed into decision variable layer traditional fuzzy logic input. Firstly, membership functions domain are formulated according conditions, response time density supercapacitor adjusted improve tram. Secondly, hyper-spherical search algorithm used weight rules, peak current battery minimized life span increased. Finally, strategies combined with different variables compared analyzed by using data western suburban line in Beijing. The results show that proposed achieves multiple superior distribution, charge state offset ranges supercapacitor, overall efficiency. Compared fixed scheme, reduced 31.02% continuous mileage increased 22.45% rule optimization scheme.
